We work on the development of a prototype of an
interactive musical instrument. The early testing
made by some people not involved in the project,
encourage our hope to help people that do not
know but would like to make music, on their development
of basic music notions. Some abilities such as the
musical hearing or the sense of rhythm, could be
stimulated while enjoying a quasi-ludic experience.
The system is aiming to be attractive for a general
non-professional audience, and should be easy, intuitive
and self-evident. Some experiments made with children
(7-10 years old) showed a good understanding and
